You’ll never know what you will find

This half term we will be really getting stuck into our learning journey ‘Trash’ through the book by Andy Mulligan. We will be looking closely at the young boy Raphael.

Raphael is a dumpsite boy. He spends his days wading through mountains of steaming trash, sifting, sorting it, breathing it, sleeping on it. Then one unlucky-lucky day the word turns upside down. A small leather bag falls into his hands. It’s a bag of clues. It’s a bag of hope. It’s a bag that will change everything. Soon Raphael and his friends are running for their lives. Hounded by the police, it takes all their quick-thinking and fast- talking to stay ahead. As the net tightens, they uncover a dead man’s missing to put right a terrible wrong. It is three street-boys against the world.

During this learning journey, we will be looking closely at what life is like in the Slums and creating our very own shanty towns.

This half term we will be taking part in lots of different transition activities. Keep an eye out for out letter which will give you lots more information about the dates and the events that we will be taking part in.

Party Time

This half term we will be holding our very own Summer Fayre all the money raised will go to funding our exciting end of year BBQ which will be held on the last week of term.

Thanks for your continued support.
