Year 4 have had a great day video calling a volcanologist from the University of Bristol to learn more about how volcanoes are formed. We then identified the layers of the Earth, and some of us created it using custards, biscuits and food colouring to represent the outer core, inner core, mantle and crust. We learned about how plates on the crust can move in different ways and how this can cause volcanic eruptions.
