In Year 6 this week we have explored the heart of a pig. We became heart dissectors as we explored the different parts of the heart which we had learned about in previous lessons. It would be fair to say that some of found the process quite disturbing but it helped to bring our learning to life - even if the classroom needed a very deep clean afterwards.
