The Department for Education has announced changes to relationships and sex education (RSE), which is part of our programme of study. These changes came into effect from September 2020 and, due to COVID-19, all schools will be required to comply with the updated requirements from Summer Term 2021.

We review our RSE curriculum and policy annually so we can be sure our provision is appropriate for all our pupils based on their:

  • Age

  • Physical and emotional maturity

  • Religious and cultural backgrounds

  • Special educational needs and disabilities

As a school community, we are committed to working in partnership with parents and all stakeholders and as such, we need your feedback to help us do this successfully.

We would like to invite you:

  • To take the opportunity to view our draft policy and curriculum

  • To complete a questionnaire in order for your feedback to be captured and acted upon

The curriculum coverage document and draft policy are available to download below and parent survey can be completed at:

Please complete the questionnaire by Friday 17th February at 3pm.
