Maltby Manor Academy celebrate Christmas

Christmas is a special time for our school community.

What a magical festive season we have had here at Maltby Manor Academy.  We have celebrated with our children and the wider community in so many ways.

All our children have wowed parents and staff with wonderful Christmas performances, singing Christmas songs and telling the story of the Nativity.

The Key Stage 2 choir have shared their festive spirit in the community at Tesco, Layden Court Care Home and at Maltby Town Council's Pensioner's Christmas lunch.

Our Key Stage 2 children visited St Bart's Church to take part in their Christmas celebration and Key Stage 1 enjoyed a Pantomime in school.

We also had a fantastic Christmas dinner, showing off our Christmas jumpers and sharing joy with each other while raising money for Shiloh.

Our Christmas fayre was a big success.  A real community event and an opportunity to raise much needed funds for school.  We even had a visit from Santa himself! His grotto looked amazing and the children loved telling him all about their Christmas wishes.

In the final week, our children enjoyed their Christmas parties, dressing up in their fancy outfits, playing games and dancing with friends.

We hope all our families have a lovely Christmas break.  We will see you all the the New Year.
