On Friday the 11th of November Year 6 held a Remembrance Assembly for the whole school and year 6 parents.
The children of year 6 worked extremely hard to share their work from the previous learning journey and share the importance of Remembrance.
As part of our learning journey Private Peaceful we visited the local Cenotaph. During our visit, we studied the names on the Cenotaph, where some of us managed to find long distant relatives. We learnt all about the history of the Cenotaph and why we have Cenotaphs. Whilst we were they we paid our respects and had a two-minute silence to remember those who lost their lives for us.
